I have the utmost respect for Zimbabwe’s war veterans of the liberation struggle, the post-independence Mozambican war and the DRC campaign. Such veterans and our military and security people should ALL have a decent home, and a pension of at least US$1000 a month! We owe them debt of gratitude! Our country is wealthy and it has resources to look after our veterans. Unfortunately it is only a few elites that are enjoying the fruits of all these liberation and security campaigns.
