Tuskegee University is encouraging alumni and friends to celebrate the launch of the next season of American Idol, featuring Tuskegee native and Idol Judge Lionel Richie. The university participated in the Hometown Tours last fall, where contestants were able to perform in Daniel “Chappie” James Arena and the judges joined the campus for a pep rally featuring the Marching Crimson Pipers.
