The “best of Tom Price” – our vollies – were called to rescue a woman who had been bitten by a deadly Mulga snake last night in Karajini. The woman was in a tricky spot – halfway down a steep hiking trail in Dale’s Gorge. Our crew called on Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA, Western Australia Police Force and WA State Emergency Service teams to help in what turned out to be an 11-hour operation (between first call and Hedland crew leaving the hospital).
