Oregon: An update from the Pine Mountain Fire in Deschutes county, multiple crews have arrived on scene including Wolf Creek, Redmond, Lakeview, and Rogue River Hotshots. Multiple aircraft are on scene as well, both fixed winged tankers, with a Type 1 helicopter conducting bucket work. Currently, westerly winds are moving the fire away from the Pine Mountain Observatory, a University of Oregon facility with research grade telescopes.
