Merry Christmas! ... from the Lake Tobias staff and the newest member of our zoo family - a tiny Cotton top Tamarin! This little girl was born 4-weeks ago. Zookeepers noticed the mother was not caring for the baby properly, so our Animal Care and Rehab crew took over. The little girl is now eating well, gaining weight, and thriving in their care. She will eventually be placed back in with the parents when the crew deems it is safe to do so. Have a Wonderful New Year, Folks! See ya' at the Zoo in
