However, Gorse is much harder to remove than broom because it is armoured with sharp spikey branches. But when Nature gives us lemons, let’s make lemonade! Or, paint! And luckily it makes a deep yellow pigment and has stayed bright in my paintings for two years. Yes, Gorse has its natural place in many ecosystems, but sadly not here.
