Week three of our uploads of the newly re-mastered, upscaled Chas & Dave videos. And today it's the "Margate" promo from 1982 - which premieres on the Chas & Dave Youtube channel today at 15:00 GMT. The song wasn't a massive hit upon release but susequently became one of the boys' most well-known songs - due in part to to its inclusion on the classic Only Fools & Horses "Jolly Boys Outing" Xmas episode (with Del and Rodney adding their vocals to it for the end theme). Back in August 1982 the boys recorded their first ever live concert video at the Gatehouse pub in Highgate (this was also the venue of the "Stars Over 45" video). The recording was released on video as "A Great Night in with Chas & Dave", and has now been re-mastered and upscaled with the first clip from it ("Rabbit") now up on the Chas & Dave Youtube channel. | Chas & Dave (official)
