Bats are one of my favorite mammals to rehabilitate! They are so very misunderstood and so smart! They can learn their names and they love attention from me. They are extremely soft and fluffy, but yes they do have a mouth full of teeth so they can eat those flying pesky bugs! (Ann & Elvis are insectivores, so all they eat are bugs) These two are also my licensed USDA Educational Ambassadors so don’t go out and be picking up bats thinking they are all sweet like these are.
