Last week I discovered a lovely pair of Promicroceras ammonites lying on the foreshore, still locked within their natural rock matrix. After carefully prepping them today, an unexpected bonus appeared — a perfectly formed third ammonite hidden deeper in the layers. 🇬🇧 Last summer, we went fossil hunting in Kent, UK, in search of ammonites. We found a variety of species, but most were unfortunately in poor condition. From my experience, many of them are quite similar to the Acanthoceras specimens found at Grand Blanc Nez. However, ammonites from Petit Blanc Nez are usually much better preserved.
