Nov 9, 2024 · So - with an influx of Christmas bonus cash of about $500, I want to replace my 2018 iPad. I’m debating between buying an Apple Refurbished 5th Gen iPad Air with an M1 or the new iPad Mini 7. I want to use an Apple Pencil for sketching and note taking. I’ll also use it for watching sports (wife and daughter hog the tv) and other video content.

Mar 18, 2022 · Just set up my M1 iPad Air (64GB Wi-Fi blue). This will be secondary to the current 12.9" M1 iPad Pro mainly used for business/work. I wanted something smaller/lighter for more casual use and a primary "reading" device, so being used as such, I don't think I'll miss the features from the Pro too much.

Jun 23, 2012 · Mind, comparing M1 iPad Air (8GB RAM) and M1 iPad Pro (16GB RAM), it’s interesting to see that the Air was getting more stutters than the Pro. Gamers already know VRAM is pretty important. It would be interesting to see how that plays out given the shared memory architecture on the M-series chipsets.

Feb 9, 2005 · Although I suspect the Air 5 will be a one-off cheap device with such a high-end chip. If it wasn't for the A15 chip shortage affecting iPhone 13 deliveries, Apple might not have given it the M1. So in the future the cheaper Airs might revert to mid range chips. And I would never pay the insane price for an iPad Pro. The Air was $359 I think.

I am trying it with iPad Air M1 and ultrawide monitor Dell U4919DW (5120 x 1440 px) and the same black screen, but recognized (in settings I can also rearrange the monitors etc). If I change the monitor settings to PBP (so it works like two separate monitors next to each other) then the picture immediately appears.
