Oct 31, 2021 · I've tried scuf, the fusion, a battlebeaver, an elite series2.. The new scuf instinct is absolutely my favorite controller I've ever had. The build quality is nice and my gameplay has gotten better even only a week after using it. The old scuf paddles would break but the new buttons instead are fantastic. 7.

Aug 17, 2021 · Had 2 Elites break out of warranty, I'll see how this one fares. It's not doing anything spacial at that price point. Will wait and see what Microsoft will do in their next Elite controller. I'm will stay with my OG controller for now. 200$ for that, unbelievable.

Joysticks have a little slop which some people prefer. Instinct pro is a very tight controller. Smaller but it's paddles add to that feeling. It's very precise. I love the prestige back paddles because they're clicky, elite 2 has metal paddles that don't give you the same click a scuf would.

Elite controller are prone to dust collection and cause problem so I use this spray and it’s fixed it every time so far. It’s about $15 for a can but it’s better than buying a new controller.

TL;DR: Xbox Elite is subpar, PS5 Edge is slightly missing a step but it’s awesome, and the SCUF Envision Pro has GOAT potential but input latency and software bugs are an Achilles heal. The biggest miss Corsair made with the Envision is the Polling rate, same mistake Microsoft made with the current XBOX controllers.
