Just one week removed from a massive home victory over then-ranked No. 2 Georgia, the No. 1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide have fallen from the ranks of the unbeaten. The unranked Vanderbilt Commodores stunned the top-ranked Crimson Tide, 40-35 on Saturday evening in college football's biggest upset of the season to-date.

Vanderbilt football scored its first touchdown against Alabama since 2007 and in one half of football, exceeded its total points scored against the Crimson Tide in Nick Saban's entire tenure.

Vanderbilt pulled off one of the biggest upsets in SEC history on Saturday, downing No. 1 Alabama 40-35 at home. This is Vanderbilt's first win against a top-five opponent, and its first win against Alabama since 1984.
