The director of national intelligence told Americans this week that what everyone has known about the 2016 election is backwards.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard fired back at former President Barack Obama, accusing him of deflecting from his administration’s “absolute failure” to vet intelligence reports used to fuel narratives of Russian collusion with the 2016 Trump campaign.

Among the Russian intelligence was what Gabbard described as “high-level Democratic National Committee emails that detailed evidence of Hillary’s, quote: ‘psycho emotional problems, uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression and cheerfulness” and that then Secretary Clinton was allegedly on a daily regimen of heavy tranquilizers.

Director of National Security Tulsi Gabbard claimed Thursday that former President Barack Obama carried out a “treasonous conspiracy” because he obstructed the “peaceful transition of power” and attempted to “delegitimize President Trump’s election.

Russian interference in 2016 included hacking the Democratic National Committee and the campaign of Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee who lost to Donald Trump, and spreading propaganda. That interference was designed to sow discord and election distrust.
