Metro detectives have concluded their investigation into the discovery of a noose at the Nissan Stadium construction site on July 16.

The Tennessee Titans held a big practice in front of fans at Nissan Stadium on Saturday, as part of the NFL’s “Back Together Weekend”. A couple thousand loyal fans poured into the lower bowl, braving the midday heat to see Cam Ward and the new-look Titans ahead of their upcoming preseason road trip.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Nissan Stadium is piloting new sustainability efforts at Tuesday night’s Coldplay concert that could become the norm when the Titans move into their new stadium.

Nashville police will not charge a person of interest after completing its investigation into how a rope tied like a noose came to be left onsite at the new Nissan Stadium.

Metro Police said a noose was found at the site of the new Nissan Stadium. Police confirmed they are investigating the situation.

After declaring their investigation complete, the Metro Nashville Police Department said that "no charges are anticipated to result from the investigation" into the discovery of a noose at the construction site for the new Nissan Stadium.

Tennessee Titans HC Brian Callahan is looking forward to getting on the field at Nissan Stadium today. Coach Callahan said the team will work on red zone and 3rd down situations today, and commented on Cam Ward's progress in those areas so far.
