St. Paul officers have shot three homicide suspects recently who were allegedly armed with guns when they encountered them.

In just eight weeks, there have been nine killings across the city. In the same stretch of time, officers with the St. Paul police have shot three people.

St. Paul officials are asking for the public’s help after a recent surge in violent crime. In the last two months there have been nine homicides in the city and three shootings involving St. Paul police officers.
