Three people were killed, and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash at a busy Margate intersection late Tuesday night, police confirmed Wednesday.

Three people were killed late Tuesday night after a three-car crash at the intersection of Rock Island Road and Royal Palm Boulevard in Margate.

The Honda's driver, 24-year-old Brayan Steven Wilches, and rear passenger, 48-year-old Diana Nino, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, police said. The front passenger of the Honda, 27-year-old Nancy Sanchez, was rushed to Broward Health North and died a short time later.
