At least 25 people are believed to be dead and more than a dozen others remain unaccounted for as multiple wildfires rage across Southern California.

Fires across the Los Angeles area have killed at least 25 people. The Palisades and Eaton wildfires continue to burn out of control in Southern California.

Though winds were weaker than predicted Tuesday, firefighting crews awaited the return of dangerous winds that could fuel new blazes.
