From teacher to superintendent, after a 6-4 vote at the board of education meeting, long time Richmond County District employee Malinda Cobb is chosen to be the new superintendent.

The Richmond County Board of Education on Tuesday chose the district’s interim chief to become the next superintendent.

Dr. Malinda Cobb was named the Superintendent of the Richmond County School System after a 6-4 vote on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
