According to a leak from China, Apple is once again working on vegan leather. This time, it is said to be more durable than the old "fine fabric".

Apple described its FineWoven cases as “luxurious and durable microtwill” made from 68% post-consumer recycled polyester. Those cases didn’t really hold up well despite their $59 price tag.
