Albany Med Health System announced Thursday that it has reached a new two-year deal with the Capital District Physicians Health Plan (CDPHP) following months of intense negotiations.

This deal includes the insurance provider paying Albany Medical Center $30 million in payments withheld for more than a year. The new two-year contract will prevent any disruption in care for members of CDPHP, according to Albany Med.
