NEW YORK — New York, New Jersey and Connecticut are under winter storm warnings Sunday as the entire region braces for snow. Tri-State Area officials had been issuing warnings and discussing the states' preparations in the days leading up to the storm.

Northwestern New Jersey counties have reported the highest snow totals of up to 7 inches from Sunday’s winter storm. Morris County had the top three totals reported to the National Weather Service, with Kinnelon topping the list at 7 inches.
