Oct 18 (Reuters) - United States Cellular (USM.N), opens new tab said on Friday it has agreed to sell some of its spectrum licenses to Verizon (VZ.N), opens new tab in a $1 billion deal.
U.S. Cellular is selling a portion of its retained spectrum licenses to Verizon for $1 billion in cash as it looks to monetize the spectrum that wasn't included in the proposed sale to T-Mobile.
