SMITH COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — On Saturday morning, first responders in Smith County worked together to rescue a woman with a possibly broken leg from a hiking trail.

The woman was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.

The sheriff's office was notified that an injured cat was taken to the Clinton Pet Vet with broken bones internal injuries. The case was assigned to the Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Unit.
