On Monday, Governor Ron DeSantis signed on the dotted line to remove the Business Rent Tax later this year. Local business owners like Marla Hansen, the owner of Fitness Junky in Panama City Beach, say this is something they have been waiting for after investing over 10 years into their business.

While the NFIB already cheered the Florida Legislature for approving they measure, they want the Governor to get it done and into law ASAP.

The bill will cut more than $2 billion in taxes but nearly 75% of it will come from eliminating the business rent tax.
