Nintendo Switch owners can dive into this amazing N64 game soon as Banjo-Tooie is headed to Nintendo Switch Online for all members.

Banjo-Tooie will be available through the N64 app from October 25, 2024. The new version of the game will be available in widescreen mode to take advantage of the Switch's 720p LCD/OLED screen. The gameplay shown in the announcement trailer also confirms that it will run at, or at least target, 60fps.

Almost as soon as the playtest began, details for Nintendo's mysterious online Switch game started leaking online, including screenshots—which were immediately taken down. But descriptions of what the game is have survived the Nintendo copyright purge,
