The City of Mitcham council in the south Adelaide foothills will hold its 'Australia Day Celebrations' on January 23, which is the Thursday before the official January 26 date rolls around on Sunday.

This week, a street tree maintenance team for the City of Mitcham, in Adelaide’s south, spent hours pruning a dead Red River Gum in Ragless Reserve to create hallows for five nesting boxes.
