Phillip Schofield, who quit ITV after confessing to having an "unwise, but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague, is set to make his TV comeback.

The 62-year-old former This Morning presenter will be seen on screen in Channel 5’s Phillip Schofield: Cast Away, his first appearance on a TV series since he left ITV in May 2023 after he admitted to an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger male colleague.

Phillip Schofield has hit back at reports he quit his role on This Morning following his widely reported affair scandal.The former presenter, 62, will address the controversy in a three-part Channel 5 series,

However, during his time on the small island of Nosy Ankarea, off the coast of Madagascar, Schofield alleges he was "chucked under a bus", adding that he could do the same to others, but he is "not that sort of person".

Phillip Schofield seems to have poked fun at his former This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby after breaking his TV hiatus. The 62-year-old announced earlier this week he would be appearing on Channel 5's Cast Away after being away from the public eye since May 2023.
