The Rialto Fire Department reported that a series of small earthquakes shook the northwestern portion of the city Thursday morning.

A 4.3-magnitude earthquake shook parts of Southern California, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The about 3-mile deep quake hit about 4 miles west from Muscoy in San Bernardino County at 9:32 a.m.

A 4.4-magnitude earthquake centered just west of Muscoy, and north of San Bernardino, rattled Southern California at 9:32 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, according to the United States Geological Survey. It some areas, it lasted just a couple of seconds and was gentle. Elsewhere, it went on much longer.
