James Gunn logged on to his favorite social media platform Friday to quash more rumors about The Batman Part II. The Superman director responded to a post claiming that Batman's sidekick Robin will appear in the upcoming Matt Reeves –directed sequel.

Following rumours about The Batman sequel featuring an appearance from Robin, DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has once again taken to social media to debunk the claims being made about Matt Reeves' movie.

Per The Insneider, the script for the long-awaited sequel features the Caped Crusader's sidekick, Robin. According to sources, the script is also being described as a "big swing" and "worth the wait". Plus, the movie will reportedly finally start filming in spring 2026 ahead of its fall 2027 release.
