KISS bandmembers Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons once called President Donald Trump "abhorrent" and "out for himself." Now, the legendary rock band is being honored by him at the Kennedy Center.

On Wednesday, Trump revealed the star-studded lineup of honorees being recognized for their artistic and cultural influence, which in addition to Kiss, also includes country music titan George Strait, English actor and comedian Michael Crawford , Rocky star Sylvester Stallone, and singer Gloria Gaynor.

Founding members of KISS, who have previously called the MAGA leader “abhorrent,” expressed gratitude for the prestigious recognition.
