Jarren Duran's name is everywhere with less than a week to go before the Major League Baseball trade deadline. Duran was the breakout star of the Boston Red Sox

"The Boston Red Sox have no plans to trade outfielder Jarren Duran at the deadline, rejecting the San Diego Padres’ offers, and more likely to move him this winter," Nightengale wrote on Sunday.

It’s not surprising that Duran, a left-handed hitter, has been mentioned in trade rumors. Boston has a surplus of left-handed hitting outfielders. The Red Sox could look to trade one of their left-handed bats to shore up another area of need on the roster like starting pitching.
