Dennis Schroder has played four games for the Golden State Warriors since joining the franchise on Dec. 15. The veteran guard has the unenviable task of trying to figure out how to slot into a rotation that boasts Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.

Dennis Schroder has spent the past 10 days getting acclimated to his new surroundings in the Bay Area. The Golden State Warriors acquired the offensive-minded guard via a trade with the Brooklyn Nets on December 15.

However, during a recent news conference, Warriors GM Mike Dunleavy Jr confirmed the franchise had added the guard to help improve the roster. He pinpointed Schroder as someone who could help elevate the final years of Steph Curry and Draymond Green's career.

Aside from learning the system, among the urgent agendas for Schroder is his jersey number with Golden State. He's worn No. 17 for almost his entire career. That, however, isn't possible with his new squad since it was retired by Warriors legend Chris Mullin.
