LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Despite having to navigate their way through the loser's bracket, the Louisville baseball program is one of the last four teams standing in the College World Series, with No. 13 Coastal Carolina being the only team standing between them and a trip to the CWS Finals.
The Cardinals enter the Men’s College World Series for the sixth time in program history, and the first time since 2019. After winning the team’s first regional championship in three years, Louisville beat ACC rival Miami in the Super Regional.
"Sometimes just a little tough love, sometimes it's a little kick in the rear," Louisville coach Dan McDonnell said.
