A fan who was very vocal about the situation is the UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov. Along with many other fans, Khbaib defended Xabi Alonso and called out the Real Madrid players, who reportedly had a fallout with the manager.

Ex-Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said Xabi Alonso's ouster at Real Madrid has "nothing to do with me," pouring cold water over reports that he would leave his current role with Red Bull to return to the touchline with the Spanish club.
