Reaction poured in from both parties after Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers announced he would not seek a third term, retiring from statewide elected office after nearly two decades.

Nearly two-thirds of readers who took our non-scientific survey said Evers made the right decision to retire: 63% said yes; 24% said no; and 13% had no opinion.
