The US government has cracked down on DJI drones before, but not in a way that would keep stores from buying them, consumers from purchasing them, or individual pilots from flying

The US government is restricting Chinese dronemaker DJI from exporting select drones to the US in what appears to be part of "a broader initiative by the Department of Homeland Security to scrutinize the origins of products,

US Customs and Border Protection is apparently blocking some of the imports over concerns the drones were made with forced labor. But DJI says it has evidence denying this.

DJI have responded to the "misunderstanding" but could a bureaucrat –not a new law –be the end of DJI drones in the USA?
