A Man on the Inside reunited Ted Danson with Mike Schur after having worked together on The Good Place. The series has been renewed for Season 2, and new details are coming out. A Man on the Inside Season 2 has added a very familiar face: Mary Steenburgen.

Steenburgen and Danson first met in 1983 and have been married for 30 years Mary Steenburgen is going to feel right at home in her upcoming role! On Friday, March 28, Netflix announced that the actress has been cast in season 2 of A Man on the Inside.

The series, which hails from creator Mike Schur, follows Charles (Danson), a retired man who gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a private investigator and becomes a mole in a secret investigation in a nursing home. It's based on the documentary The Mole Agent, a 2021 Oscar nominee for Best Documentary feature.
