SOUTHERN ILLINOIS (KFVS) - The National Weather Service confirmed an EF2 tornado in Pope and Massac Counties in Illinois and Livingston County in Kentucky on Wednesday evening, April 2.

Daviess County officials are focusing on recovery as flooding impacts roads, homes, and businesses, with emergency management urging residents to report damage for quicker assistance.

That brings in a total of seven tornados that hit Southern Illinois. The EF-2 tornado traveled from Massac County, into Pope County, and ended in Livingston County, Ky. It traveled of 12.1 miles.
