A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit accusing Lyft of defrauding shareholders by waiting too long to correct a mistake in an earnings release that caused the ride-sharing company's stock price to gyrate wildly.

The owners of TikTok tried to argue the ban of the app violates the First Amendment; however, the Supreme Court rejected this argument on Friday, paving the way for the ban on Sunday. The only other way to save the app now would be for the app to be sold to someone in the U.S.
