Bo Horvat scored his second goal of the game on a breakaway in overtime and the Islanders​ snapped a three-game skid with a 5-4 win over the Bruins on Sunday night.

Bo Horvat scored his second goal of the game with 1:50 remaining in overtime as the visiting New York Islanders defeated the Boston Bruins 5-4 on Sunday.

The Bruins earned a point after dropping three straight in regulation, but even Pastrnak's heroics couldn't get them the win.

David Pastrnak scored twice in the third period, but Bo Horvat scored in OT to lift the Islanders to a 5-4 OT win.

Horvat, who also scored in the first period, broke in alone on goalie Joonas Korpisalo (32 saves) and wristed in the winner from the low slot. It came only six seconds after Ilya Sorokin stoned Brad Marchand at the other end, the rebound triggering Horvat’s game-winning breakaway.

The Flyers struck three times in the second period to take the lead for good, with the Islanders' defense seemingly unable to clear their own zone or stop the visitors from some tic-tac-toe passing displays.

We are firmly into the second half with a neck-and-neck-and-neck race for the top of the fantasy podium. Connor Hellebuyck will surely start getting some additional rest later in the season, so the race at the top right now is between Nikita Kucherov and Nathan MacKinnon.
