We’ll have a Winter Storm Watch from Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning with the possibility of one to three inches of snow possible.

Storm Warning is in effect until 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Snow, ice and sleet could fall from Monday night through Tuesday. We expect much of the area to see 2 to 4 inches of snow, but some areas could see more.

Preparations are underway from Houston to Atlanta as a rare winter storm sets its sights on the southern U.S., where it's expected to bring a messy mix of heavy snow, sleet and freezing rain that could have a major impact on travel and daily life.
