ESCANABA, Mich. (WLUC) - The city of Escanaba is asking residents to stay home and to travel only if necessary as two snowstorms hit the Upper Peninsula over the weekend and into Monday.
Significant accumulations of heavy, wet snow between one and three feet, high winds and gusts up to 55 mph are forecasted in many locations by the NWS.
The city of Escanaba and the Marquette Board of Light and Power both sent out press releases on Friday regarding the scams.
The release says patients who had appointments scheduled for Monday will be contacted by hospital staff to reschedule their visits.
