The Lexus GS 350 is the luxury division's ""executive car,"" a mid-luxe vehicle with performance features. It's available with a conventional V-6 engine; the hybrid model is called the GS 450h.

The GS is a perfectly good car without this ill-conceived attempt at making it into some kind of hopped-up performance hybrid. Skip the electrics, save money, and get a better overall car.
