LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — A crash closed a section of Interstate 80 east in Luzerne County early Thursday morning. According to PennDOT the crash happened just after midnight at the split of Interstate 80 & Interstate 81 near Drums. We have seen traffic being detoured onto Interstate 81.

POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY, Iowa (WOWT) - One person died after a single-vehicle semi-truck crash in Pottawattamie County Friday afternoon. According to the Iowa State Patrol, a semi-truck was traveling on Interstate 80 outside of Weston just after noon when strong winds caused the driver to lose control.

A 79-year-old Sparks woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash involving a car and a semitrailer on Interstate 80.

According to the Monroe County Coroner’s Office, Adam Lander, 25, of Cranberry, and Nathaniel Durrell, 32, of Franklin, were the individuals pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on I-80 in Tunkhannock Township on the morning of Jan. 5.
