This year marks the 40th anniversary of the iconic monster truck Grave Digger. On Saturday, the truck revs into Monster Jam at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.
According to the Monster Jam website, the award-winning Grave Digger was rolled out in 1982 by Hall of Famer Dennis Anderson.

The most popular truck at Monster Jam is also one of the oldest: Grave Digger, a 1952 Ford-based terror that’s been bringing fear and mayhem to events since 1982.
Grave Digger, driven by Weston Anderson. He started in Monster Jam last year, following in the footsteps of his father, Dennis, who created the iconic truck in 1982.
Fans can meet drivers and trucks at Pit Parties and Trackside events.
"Being the first and only female to ever drive Grave Digger makes me so proud," Krysten Anderson said.
