Charlie Woods, the son of golf legend Tiger Woods, missed the cut to advance in qualifying for the 2025 U.S. Open. Woods shot three-over 75 at Wellington National Golf Club, seven shots behind the cut line. The top five finishers from the 84-player field moved on.

Tiger Woods, who has three U.S. Opens among his 15 professional majors, never had to go through the first stage of local qualifying. According to the USGA, Woods was exempt from the local qualifying in 1992 through 1994, presumably from his U.S. Junior Amateur titles.

Charlie Woods showed progress in U.S. Open qualifying but will once again not advance beyond the first stage after his performance.
