Nikeil Jennings, 39, has been arrested after a triple shooting occurred in North Philly after midnight Wednesday. Police say the 39-year-old alleged shooter faces aggravated assault and other related charges.

It's been almost one week since the shooting claimed the lives of three people. One of the victims is 24-year-old Azir Harris.

On July 11, around 6:45 p.m., police took 42-year-old Joseph M. Greene into custody in Bear. He was charged with first-degree murder, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Greene was committed to the Department of Correction on $710,000.00 cash bond.

Police are searching for whoever shot a man in Philadelphia overnight. According to police, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 10:18 p.m., police officers responded to the 5200 block of Pentridge St. after receiving reports of a person with a gun.
