Connor McDavid continues setting records and moving up scoring lists. McDavid had two goals and an assist in the Edmonton Oilers’ 5-3 win against the Minnesota Wild, passing Jari Kurri for second all-time in points in Edmonton history.

In last night's game between the Edmonton Oilers and Minnesota Wild, Connor McDavid connected an elbow to the head of with Marcus Johansson, and is being called out for it.

McDavid’s second goal of the game at 12:49 of the third period gave him 1,044 points in 686 career games with Edmonton, passing Hockey Hall of Famer Jari Kurri’s mark with the Oilers (1,043 points in 754 games). Wayne Gretzky is the franchise leader in points (1,669 in 696 games).

Johansson, 34, has played in 44 of the team's 45 games this year. He has five goals and 16 points. The 6-foot-1 forward was in the defensive zone when he caught an elbow from Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid. Johansson immediately fell over and his helmet also came off later.

Lauren Kyle McDavid has always supported her husband, Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid. The support goes both ways for the couple, of course. The three-time Hart Memorial Trophy winner even tried to model her brand's Edmonton Oilers-themed jacket, as seen in an Instagram Story post she shared on Friday.
