The 2023 Little League World Series began Aug. 16. Nolensville won the Southeast Region to become the first U.S. program to advance to the LLWS in three straight seasons.

Nolensville will attempt to make it beyond the first round of the Little League World Series for just the second time. In 2013, they reached round three before falling to Washington 6-5.

With Goodlettsville making the Little League World Series in 2012 and 2016 this is actually the fifth time a mid-state team has reached the big stage in the past nine years.
