Michigan State football kept its recruiting momentum going for the 2026 class on Saturday, landing four-star tight end Edward Whiting.

Michigan currently has two prospects committed to its 2026 class in four-star defensive back Brody Jennings and three-star wide receiver Jaylen Pile. The Wolverines' class sits at No. 44 in the country and ranks 13th out of 18 Big Ten schools in the very early-goings of the cycle.

Michigan football went 8-5 in 2024, the worst season that the Wolverines had since 2020, 2017, and 2014. But, unlike those years, the maize and blue ended the season by beating Ohio State and then winning their bowl game.
